Weekly groups for coping with stress, anxiety, emotional distress, and trauma symptoms, for reservists, evacuees, and the general public.
Groups are two hours in length and generally run from eight to ten weeks. These groups are based on the CMBM model and include a place to process what is happening in the individual’s life as well as the learning and practicing of mind-body skills.
The content and scope of the group can be tailored to the needs of the requesting organization. Target audience: Reservists and their families; evacuees; those affected by October 7th; therapists from various therapeutic professions; the general public. Each participant will receive a complete exercise booklet at the end of the workshop for personal and professional use of the tools acquired during the training. Therapists who participate in the workshop will be eligible to participate in a complementary program to receive a certificate of participation in the professional training program according to the CMBM model, and later, provided they have completed the complementary program, will be eligible to participate in an advanced training program for facilitating mind-body groups according to the CMBM model.
