8 sessions, 3 hours per session, or alternatively, in a workshop that lasts 4 consecutive days. After the training, it's possible to continue and receive training in group facilitation and supervision from the organization's team of experts, to implement the model in the requesting organization by its therapists.
Training objective: Training therapists in mind-body skills using the CMBM model (The Center for Mind-Body Medicine model), with emphasis on working in small groups and self care techniques .Using the mind-body method, based on strengthening mental resilience, teaching coping methods, and group therapeutic work, as promoters of recovery, functioning, and well-being. The method is proven and scientifically validated for treating symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and coping with life crises. The model advocates an approach of strengthening mental resilience at the individual and community level and creating alternative communities. It should be emphasized that the training focuses on strengthening the mental resilience of the therapist themselves, and consequently, with guidance and supervision, to enable the therapist to impart the same skills that helped them to their patients.
Training Description: The training is based on participation in workshops in small groups where participants experience various mind-body skills, using group support and sharing. The training also includes lectures and experiences (also possible in large groups), to receive theoretical knowledge in various mind-body skills.
Target Audience: Therapists from various therapeutic professions.
Receiving a certificate of participation in the program allows participation in an advanced training program for facilitating mind-body groups according to the CMBM model.
Each participant will receive a complete exercise booklet at the end of the training for personal and professional use of the tools acquired during the training.
Participants recommend:
"The conference was a dream for me... I haven't enjoyed myself like this in a long time... An island of sanity, love, tranquility, humanity, quiet, and all the things we all so desperately need in recent months..."
"Thank you very much for the opportunity to receive so much. As a therapist used to giving to others, this is a new place for me, and I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to the amazing donors who thought of us - you gave a lot of strength to continue helping more people."
"It was very invested from all aspects, the general facilitating team gave a very pleasant and warm general framework, I felt that we were really wanted and they appreciate our work, it's very very important to me that you prepare a booklet with all the course contents so we can continue to work with the exercises and contents in the clinic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart"
"I want to send a significant thank you to the donors! Throughout the training, I felt the great investment of all the staff members, alongside the wonder and gratitude for the financial contribution that made this possible. Know that your money is multiplying good in the world! So not taken for granted and worthy of appreciation - thank you very much"
"The facilitators Naftali and Ayelet were wonderful... professional, containing, humane, created an atmosphere of acceptance and a safe place, and shone a light on all kinds of points that will continue to resonate with me..."
"The facilitators Ronit and Bergie are amazing, professional, humane, gave a sense of security and holding that allowed the group to reach deep, meaningful, and healing places"
"Huge thanks for the generosity of heart, it was especially amazing in such days when human complexity is so present."
"Well done!!! There is hope!! You are touching, continue to multiply good in the world!!"
"So first I want to thank you and all of you for the generosity of heart that is so not taken for granted. In these days when most of us experience a certain degree of helplessness, this approach that emphasizes the possibility to choose and take responsibility for my 'well-being' within the circumstances allowed me to practice the ability to care for myself out of listening and compassion. I'll add that the work in small groups, although it was very intensive for me due to the tight schedule, allowed a protected space of belonging where I could choose whether, how much, and when to share without fear of criticism or judgment."
"I highly recommend the CMBM method - treating therapists through small groups that give space for real and unique self-healing for therapists. The method is unique and different from other trainings in the field of mind-body for therapists in that in CMBM the treatment is for therapists only and not professional training like other methods I've gone through in the field... The possibility to be in a real space that is just for me and not as another additional professional training as this or that treatment method. The experience is meaningful and strong that remains and creates more air and breath for me as a therapist, as a mother, and as a person. The CMBM team - a professional, humane team that believes in what it does. I highly recommend taking the method and passing it on to as many therapists as possible"
